When asked about the opposition leaders' refusal to attend the meeting called by the Congress in New Delhi after the significant defeats in three states, Lalu Prasad Yadav remarked that the meeting of opposition parties is rescheduled for December 17.

“It is the soil of Khudi Ram Bose, Jubba Sahani and Pandit Shahdev and I want to respect them and I pray to Chatthi Maiya to make Bihar free from Jungle Raj and Paltu Ram in 2025,” Shah said.

The first issue was noticed on Thursday when the Congress party invited Lalu Prasad as the chief guest to Sadakat Ashram to celebrate the 136th birth anniversary of Bihar Kesri and first Chief Minister of the state Sri Krishna Singh but did not invite Chief Minister Nitish Kumar despite the Congress being in the Mahagathbandhan government.

“One leader of his (Modi) party was glorifying the killer of Mahatma Gandhi and another MP used non parliamentary language against the fellow MP inside the Lok Sabha on the direction of the Prime Minister. Such a statement is highly objectionable, derogatory, non parliamentary and a matter of concern for our democracy and society. This is not an Amrit Kaal but it is a Vish Kaal,” the RJD President said.

Lalu Prasad Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi were in Jharkhand's Deoghar where they offered prayers to Lord Shiva at Baba Baidyanath Dham. "We have visited the temple of Baba and taken the blessings before going into the war of 2024 Lok Sabha poll. We will visit some more temples and take the blessings of god and goddess," he said.

He said that his father was playing badminton on the advice of the doctors.

While hoisting the National Flag at 10 circular road residence of his wife and former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi in Patna to celebrate 77th Independence Day, Lalu Prasad said that a large number of people sacrificed their lives to get Independence.
