Pappu Yadav Opens Up About Lalu Prasad's Deception

Addressing the media in Purnea, Yadav recounted the circumstances of 1990 when Lalu Prasad Yadav sought the assistance of several MLAs, including Yadav and his 11 associates, to establish the government in Bihar. Rajesh Ranjan, popularly known as Pappu Yadav, has asserted his instrumental role in aiding Lalu Prasad Yadav's ascension to the position of Chief Minister of Bihar in 1990. However, Yadav laments that despite his support and loyalty, Lalu Prasad Yadav consistently betrayed him.

Yadav emphasized his refusal to merge his political party with the RJD, as well as his reluctance to contest Lok Sabha elections from Madhepura or Supaul. He conveyed his willingness to contest elections from Purnea, provided he received the RJD ticket. Yadav reiterated his commitment to his constituency of Purnea.

Regarding the ongoing discussions with Lalu Prasad Yadav's family, Yadav chose to withhold specific details from the public domain.

In a separate development, Pappu Yadav is set to file his nomination as an Independent candidate from Purnea on the following day. This move comes in the wake of Bima Bharti's nomination as an RJD candidate from the same constituency earlier that day, with the presence of Tejashwi Yadav during her nomination process.
