Speaking at a gathering at the RJD office to commemorate the birth centenary of former Bihar Chief Minister Jannayak Karpoori Thakur, Lalu Prasad emphasized Karpoori Thakur's role as a leader of social justice in the state.

Addressing queries from journalists at his residence on Circular Road, where he resides with his wife Rabri Devi, a former CM herself, the ailing septuagenarian expressed, "Do these things take place so quickly? Progress is underway."

Lalu Prasad Yadav informed reporters that the seat-sharing formula for the INDIA bloc has not been finalized yet.

In response to the proposal, Nitish Kumar supported the idea, stating, "This is right. Make Lalu Ji the chairperson." However, Lalu Prasad Yadav remained silent, prompting Rahul Gandhi to reintroduce Nitish Kumar's name.

The chargesheet includes names like Hema Yadav, another daughter of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, along with Amit Katyal, an alleged close associate of the Yadav family.

Addressing the media, Yadav clarified misconceptions spawned by certain media outlets, stating that reports of discord between him and Nitish Kumar were unfounded.

Addressing the media in Patna, Prasad contended, "Amit Shah lacks a comprehensive understanding of this matter. Unnecessarily, he's casting blame on our inaugural prime minister."
