Nitish Kumar, Lalu Prasad reach 10 Janpath to meet Sonia Gandhi

The two leaders will brief the Congress chief about the initiatives taken to unite the opposition parties against BJP in 2024. Nitish Kumar had met Rahul Gandhi, Sharad Pawar, Arvind Kejriwal, and Sitaram Yechury on his previous Delhi visit. The meeting gains significance as opposition leaders had come together to pay tribute to former Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal in Haryana.

Nitish Kumar is currently flexing his muscles to unite opposition parties in the country. He went to Delhi for the three days and met several leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Sitaram Yechury, D. Raja, Arvind Kejriwal, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav and others. As Sonia Gandhi was not present at that time, he did not meet her.
Will never bow down before BJP and RSS, says Lalu Prasad

"BJP is a party of rioters and every party bowed down before it but I never did till now. I assure you that Lalu Prasad Yadav will never bow down before them. I may not get jail if I bow down before them. With this, the decks have been cleared for him to go to Singapore for the kidney transplant. After he was convicted in a fodder scam, his passport was seized in 2017. The RJD chief, Lalu Prasad Yadav who is currently on bail, is suffering from many diseases including infection in kidneys, lungs, blood pressure and others. Both his kidneys are damaged up to 75 per cent.

Referring to RJD symbol with the Bhojpuri song on her handle, Lalu Prasad's daughter Rohini Acharya tweeted, "Prepare for the coronation, the lantern carriers are coming." The song has been sung by Bhojpuri singer Khesari Lal Yadav that was released before the Bihar Legislative Council elections. The song has some lines that calls RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav to become Bihar's leader. "Tejashwi ke bina sudhaar na hoyi (There can be no progress without Tejashwi)."

Sudhir Kumar Sinha, Lalu Prasad's lawayer has moved an application pertaining to renewal of his client's passport in the special CBI court of Justice Mahesh Kumar in Patna. Earlier, Lalu Prasad, who is convicted in the fodder scam, filed an application for the renewal of passport in the special CBI court of Ranchi and the court had already allowed the same on June 14.

PM Modi on Wednesday said that Lalu Prasad Yadav's family had used Hridayanand Chaudhary, a fourth-grade railway employee ('Khalasi') at Rajendra Nagar terminus railway station in Patna, as a pawn for the transaction involving 2.5 'Katha' land in Patna worth Rs 70 lakh when the RJD Chief was the Union Railways Minister from 2004-2009. As per the information collected by the Central Bureau Of Investigation, Bhola Yadav appeared as a witness in more than 40 land registries being done in the names of Lalu Prasad Yadav's family members.

"My in-laws are victimising me and demanding crore of rupees from me as compensation. They have also abused my mother and father.
