Addressing party leaders and supporters on the occasion of 27th formation day of the party here, Lalu Prasad said: “The price rise of every essential is very high. Common people of the country are upset with it. Leaders of BJP-RSS have distorted the atmosphere of the country. They are pushing people to hatred."

Before the Rouse Avenue Court, the probe agency filed a charge sheet against Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi and their son and Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav. CBI through its Special Public Prosecutor Advocate DP Singh apprised the court that a fresh chargesheet is filed in the case, despite a chargesheet already being filed because the alleged act is committed with a different modus operandi.

“The action of Lalu Prasad Yadav was not threatening to divide the country or create communal frenzy in the country. His action was to stop communal violence. He had saved the country with his action. We have not taken revenge for anything,” RJD's Bihar President Jagadanand Singh said. 

Joining the bandwagon, veteran politician and Madhya Pradesh Congress president Kamal Nath on Saturday said though several people have advised Rahul Gandhi to get married, it is a personal issue.Kamal Nath, who shares close ties with the Nehru-Gandhi family, being friends and schoolmate of Sanjay Gandhi at the Doon.

"Now I am completely fit and will fix the BJP and Narendra Modi. The meeting that took place today where all leaders have kept their views and it has been decided that next meeting will take place in Shimla and there we will discuss how to take it forward," Lalu Prasad said at a press conference here.

Nitish Kumar is reportedly unwell, and Lalu Prasad had gone to his place to check on his health status. Sources said the two leaders discussed various issues, including the opposition meeting scheduled on June 23. As per sources, all preparation have been made for the opposition meeting, and Patna is ready to welcome the guests.
