Delhi court reserves order on CBI seeking extension of Sisodia's remand

Special CBI Judge M.K. Nagpal has also listed Sisodia's bail plea for March 10. During the hearing, the CBI counsel while seeking three days extension of remand said that Sisodia is not cooperating and he was interrogated daily till almost till around 8 p.m. Opposing the extension of remand, Senior Advocate Dayan Krishnan appearing for Sisodia said that the inefficiency.
Delhi LG approves CM Kejriwal's proposal to reallocate Manish Sisodia's portfolios

After Sisodia and Satyendar Jain resigned as ministers on Tuesday, Kejriwal had sent a proposal to allot eight portfolios to Gahlot and ten to Anand. Out of 18 departments with Sisodia, the responsibilities for eight, including Finance and PWD, have been assigned to Gahlot and other ten, including Education and Health, have been assigned to Anand.

SC agrees to examine Sisodia's plea today against arrest in Delhi liquor policy case

Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, representing Sisodia, mentioned the plea for urgent hearing before a bench headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) D.Y. Chandrachud. Initially, the Chief Justice told Singhvi that he can move before the high court. But the senior advocate insisted on an urgent hearing. The CJI then said that the apex court will hear the matter at 3.50 p.m.
Medical test of Sisodia conducted after arrest in Excise policy case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) got the medical test conducted at its headquarters as he could not be taken to AIIMS in view of the law and order situation. As all his vitals were found to be normal, Sisodia will be taken to Rouse Avenue District Courts and produced before a sessions court. The CBI is all set to seek his two weeks' custodial remand.

Stop taking direct orders from L-G: Delhi govt to dept secretaries

All Delhi govt ministers have written letters to their respective department secretaries directing strict compliance and adherence to the Transaction of Business Rules. The secretaries have been directed to report to the minister-in-charge if any direct orders are being received from L-G V.K Saxena. LG has been issuing orders to department secretaries while bypassing.
Lt Governor, CM spar over Delhi's law and order situation on Twitter

Citing a report, Kejriwal tweeted: "The law and order situation in Delhi had deteriorated a lot last year. It is good to know that the LG is finally holding a meeting on it. The LG should focus on law and order and hold such meetings frequently." After some hours, Saxena also tweeted with the screenshot of Kejriwal's tweet.
Shelly Oberoi: From DU prof to MCD mayor

Before embarking on a political journey, Oberoi completed her Phd in management studies from IGNOU's School of Management Studies. Along with Delhi University, she had also taught at several other universities like NMIMS, IP and IGNOU. Upon joining AAP as an activist, Shelly went on to become the party's state Mahila Morcha vice-president and continued till 2020.
Giving Sisodia time will allow him to tamper with evidence: Congress

He alleged that giving one week time will allow Sisodia to tamper with evidence, adding that the CBI has reportedly collected damning evidence against him in the multi crores scam after questioning his Personal Secretary and he should not have been allowed to evade questioning.
