The heavy rain triggered waterlogging in several areas of the national capital and traffic police of Delhi on their X handle advised to avoid different stretches.

The protesters raised slogans against the accused who pelted stones at the police personnel and damaged several vehicles. The protesters blocked the traffic on Rohtak Road for almost one hour while raising slogans. 

In the video, a man wearing a blue t-shirt and shorts could be seen standing next to his female companion in front of a brown-coloured car. An elderly Sikh man dressed in a white t-shirt appears, holding a stick, and engages in a conversation with the owner of the car. Suddenly, without warning, the elderly man strikes the other man as he starts talking.

The Central Water Commission had predicted a significant increase in the river's water level by Wednesday night, but it crossed that level before the expected time. It had suggested that the water level would increase to 207.90 meters by the morning of July 13, but the level has already exceeded 208 meters.

The relative humidity at 8.30 p.m was recorded at 95 per cent. The India Meteorological Department has also forecast a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain for Tuesday and the expected range for the maximum and minimum temperatures is around 31 and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively.

The IMD said that Delhi's Safdarjung weather station recorded the third-highest 24-hour rainfall for the month of July since 1958. The meteorological office forecasted a generally cloudy sky with light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm for Monday.

This marked the first substantial rainfall of the season, prompting the issuance of an "orange" alert for further showers on Saturday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) also issued a "yellow" alert for Sunday. 

There was a cloud cover over Delhi throughout the day and the relative humidity at 5.30 p.m. was 76 per cent. The maximum temperature for Thursday is forecast to reach around 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to settle.

According to a statement issued by DIAL, the self-baggage drop facility offers a simple and efficient two-step process. “First, passengers can generate their boarding passes and baggage tags at the self check-In kiosk. Then, after tagging their check-in baggage, passengers will proceed to the SBD facility.

The accused identified as Ruslan Petrov Metodiev (47) was printing FICN on his own and was supplying/circulating them to his receivers in Delhi/NCR. The police said that they have also recovered Rs 8 lakh, all in the denomination of Rs 500 notes, from the possession of the accused, who was residing at Palam.
