The heavy rain triggered waterlogging in several areas of the national capital and traffic police of Delhi on their X handle advised to avoid different stretches.
Protest in Delhi over violence during Muharram processions

The protesters raised slogans against the accused who pelted stones at the police personnel and damaged several vehicles. The protesters blocked the traffic on Rohtak Road for almost one hour while raising slogans.

Yamuna river water level surpasses danger mark in Delhi, submerges stretch of Ring Road

The Central Water Commission had predicted a significant increase in the river's water level by Wednesday night, but it crossed that level before the expected time. It had suggested that the water level would increase to 207.90 meters by the morning of July 13, but the level has already exceeded 208 meters.
Delhi records maximum of 31.4 degrees C, moderate rain likely on Tuesday

The relative humidity at 8.30 p.m was recorded at 95 per cent. The India Meteorological Department has also forecast a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain for Tuesday and the expected range for the maximum and minimum temperatures is around 31 and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Delhi breaks 41-year-old rainfall record, IMD issues yellow alert for Monday

The IMD said that Delhi's Safdarjung weather station recorded the third-highest 24-hour rainfall for the month of July since 1958. The meteorological office forecasted a generally cloudy sky with light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm for Monday.

There was a cloud cover over Delhi throughout the day and the relative humidity at 5.30 p.m. was 76 per cent. The maximum temperature for Thursday is forecast to reach around 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to settle.

Int'l fake currency racket busted in Delhi, ex-Bulgarian army officer nabbed

The accused identified as Ruslan Petrov Metodiev (47) was printing FICN on his own and was supplying/circulating them to his receivers in Delhi/NCR. The police said that they have also recovered Rs 8 lakh, all in the denomination of Rs 500 notes, from the possession of the accused, who was residing at Palam.
