'Students upset with scrapping of Class 12 boards can write exams in August'

The Minister said that class 12 students will get their results according to their merit through the new evaluation process decided by the CBSE. Nishank said he wants to assure all the students having doubts. "If a student is not satisfied with the new evaluation system they don't need to worry about it since we are ready to conduct optional board exams for such students."

PM Modi to inaugurate nine new medical colleges in UP

According to a government spokesperson, the new medical colleges are in Deoria, Etah, Fatehpur, Ghazipur, Hardoi, Jaunpur, Mirzapur, Pratapgarh and Siddhartha Nagar districts. He said that out of a total of over 450 faculty members, about 70 per cent had already been recruited with full transparency. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new medical colleges simultaneously." the state government said in the statement.
UK to issue post-study work visa for international students

The visa has been designed to give opportunities to students studying in UK universities to stay on and look for work for at least two years. To apply, students must have completed an eligible course that has been recognized by the UK education department. The student should also have appropriate immigration requirements.
CLAT 2021 to be held in July; 18 new test centres added | All you need to know

Candidates can now change their preference for test centres according to their comfort and proximity as indicated in their application. The last date to make this change is July 4 2021.  The CLAT 2021 is scheduled to take place on July 23, between 2 and 4 pm. The consortium decided to increase the number of test centres after considering the problems withstanding due to the ongoing pandemic.

Provide opt-out option to CA candidate: SC on Covid-affected

A bench comprising Justices A.M. Khanwilkar, Dinesh Maheshwari and Aniruddha Bose told ICAI to not insist on RT-PCR negative reports as long as the candidate gets a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner. The bench said the opt-out facility can be availed by candidates who suffered from COVID-19 or if their family member suffered from the disease in the recent past.
