Union minister of education Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Tuesday approved the release of the Integrated District Education Information System (UDISE Plus) 2019-20 report for school education. The UDISE Plus system for online data collection from schools was launched in 2018-19. It was introduced to remove the problems related to manual data filling in paper format and subsequent feeding at the block or district level.

While some of the courses are in the offline in-person setting, many other colleges have opted for online courses in view of the pandemic. The courses range from designing to public policy and have no age bar to them. Most of the courses can also be accessed by students and working professionals as they have not been made exclusively for the enrolled students of IITs.

Karnataka Class 10 exams to be held from July 19-22

After a meeting with bureaucrats' concerned and academic experts here, Education Minister S. Suresh Kumar said that as decided earlier the Class 10 board examinations will be conducted only for two days. "On July 19, the examination will be held for the core subjects Maths, Science and Social Science, while on July 22, the examination will be held for languages. The hall tickets will be released on June 30," he said.
