JAM 2022: IIT-Roorkee to conduct exam on Feb 13, application process to start from Aug 30

The Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) is a qualifying examination for individuals seeking admission to a variety of Masters programmes, including M.Sc. (Two-year), Joint M.Sc.Ph.D., M.Sc.Ph.D. Dual Degree, M.Sc.M.S., M.Sc.M.S., M.Sc.M.S., M.Sc.M.S., M.Sc.M.S

IITs (Bhilai, Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi, (ISM) Dhanbad, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Mandi, Palakkad, Patna, Roorkee, Ropar, Tirupati, and BHU-Varanasi offer (Research)/ Ph.D. Dual Degree and other Post‐Bachelor Degree programmes. IISc Bangalore also uses JAM score for admission to Integrated Ph.D. programmes.

Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PT) are the seven test papers for JAM 2022. (PH). A candidate can take one or both test papers. JAM 2022 is accessible to all nationalities and has no age limit. The JAM score is only applicable for one year. Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, such as NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET Punjab, and IISERs, will apply the JAM score for admission to their postgraduate programmes.

The JAM 2022 exam will be administered as a computer-based test (CBT) in an online format in a number of cities across the country. It's a completely objective test with three different types of questions: (I) multiple choice questions (MCQ), (ii) multiple select questions (MSQ), and (iii) numerical answer type (NAT) questions.
