GUJCET 2021 : Exam to be held on August 6, pattern of examination changed

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has announced the exam date for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2021. The examination will be held on August 6, 2021. The admit cards are likely to be released in the last week of July. There are some changes in the exam pattern as well.

The GUJCET 2021 exam will be held in offline mode. The scores will be used for admission to engineering and pharmacy programmes offered by Gujarat-based institutes. The admit cards should be available in the last week of July.

This year, physics and chemistry question papers will be combined, with 40 questions each worth one mark. The time allotted for this will be 120 minutes. Biology and mathematics question papers will be separate, with 40 questions each. Each paper must be completed in 60 minutes by the students.

The medium of examination will be English, Hindi, and Gujarati. The question paper for engineering aspirants will include questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The questions for pharmacy courses will be based on physics, chemistry, and biology. For each correct answer, one mark will be given, and for each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
