The portal for CBSE Class 12 result moderation and finalisation will open in the afternoon of July 16, and it will be operational until midnight of July 22. The  Class 12 results are set to be announced on July 31 and the CBSE has asked all its affiliated schools to strictly adhere to the schedule and complete the moderation within the stipulated time frame. If any school fails to complete the moderation within the time frame specified, their results will be announced separately after July 31, according to the Board's official notification.

The CBSE has also asked schools to "ensure comparability and fairness" at the higher range of marks, as well as to "avoid bunching of total marks in the range of 95 and above." According to the board, the number of students scoring more than 95 percent overall should not be greater than the number of students achieving similar results in the previous three years.
