Ved Lahoti Secures Top Rank as JEE-Advanced Results are Announced
Among female candidates, the top performer is Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel from the IIT Bombay zone, who scored 332 marks. She secured the 7th rank nationwide.
QS World University Rankings 2025: IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi rank among Top 150
IIT Bombay, which has secured the 118th position globally, has jumped an impressive 31 positions from the previous year's rank of 149th. The institute has performed well, gathering an overall score of 56.3 out of 100. The institute's score was very good in employer reputation (86.0), citations per faculty (79.1), academic reputation (58.5), employment outcomes (64.5), and sustainability (52.5). Other scores that were good to note included the faculty-student ratio (14.4), international faculty (4.3), international research network (52.3), and international students (1.3). The institute said it felt proud to secure its first-ever entry into the top 150 institutions ranked by QS.

The NIRF Rankings can be accessed on the official website of NIRF – nirfindia.org. Maintaining its previous year's position, IIT Madras remains at number 1, while IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay hold the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. This year, IIT Kharagpur has lost its 5th position to IIT Roorkee and slipped down to 6th place.
IIT-Delhi alumni named dean of Cornell's management school
Gaur, who is the Emerson Professor of Manufacturing Management and professor of operations, technology and information management, will begin his role from July 1, a University statement said. Gaur joined the Cornell faculty in 2007 and previously served as associate dean for MBA programs at the Johnson School.

The admit card for the examination will be released on May 29th, 2023 and can be downloaded until June 4th, 2023. The JEE Advanced 2023 exam will have two papers, with Paper 1 conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and Paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The provisional answer key will be available on June 11th, 2023, and applicants can raise objections if any until June 12th, 2023.

According to the University Grants Commission (UGC), along with Indian Vedic Mathematics, Indian Philosophy, Indian Sanskrit and Science and Indian Aesthetics will also be taught in the higher educational institutions.
The UGC has in this regard sought for an expression of interest from the institutions across the country.
