Eligibility: Candidate should be graduated with a CAT 2022 score or a professional qualification equivalent to that of a university degree recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PD). Final year Students can also apply.
IIT-K develops course on drone technology

The course has been designed on the directives of the Union ministry of electronics and information technology. The ministry sees drone technology from the perspective of the future and believes the move would help in quality supply of specialists in this field.
GATE 2023 Examination: Admit Card released; know all important instructions

The GATE 2023 Examination will be conducted on 4, 5,11 and 12 February 2023. Answer key for this examination will be released on 21st of February and the candidates can submit challenges to the answer key from 22nd to 25th of February while the examination results will be announced on 16th of March 2023 and from 21st of March the score card will be available for downloading.

Enrollment ID and Password will be required for downloading the admit card. While appearing for the examination students should have a valid id proof along with the admit card. Applicants should read the instructions given in the admit card for appearing in the GATE 2023 Examination.
QS Rankings: IIT Bombay best in employability, IIT Delhi ranks second

In the rankings, released in London recently, IIT Bombay was evaluated as India's top higher education institution for its excellence in employability, social concern, and environment. IIT Bombay was featured in the 281-300 rank range, followed by IIT Delhi (321-340 rank) and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) at the third rank (361-380).
CUET UG admissions: 'Merit list to be based on normalised scores not percentile'

According to the University Grants Commission (UGC), the merit list to be released by the unversities will be based on normalised scores and not on the percentile.
JEE Advanced 2022 results declared: R K Shishir from Karnataka tops exam | Here's the list of top 10 rank holders

Students can download their results and final answers key from the official website  -  jeeadv.ac.in.  This year, all the top 10 students are boys. Among females, Tanishka Kabra has topped by obtaining Rank 16. A total of 155538 candidates appeared for JEE advanced of which only 40712 candidates have qualified. Successful Candidates can apply for Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) counseling, the counseling process began on Monday, September 12.
JEE-Advanced result out, RK Shishir of IIT Bombay zone tops

R.K. Shishir is the topper among the students whose names are included in the list of top 10 in JEE-Advanced exam. Polu Lakshmi Sai came at number two, Thomas Biju at number three, Vangapalli Sai Siddharth at number four and Mayank Motwani of IIT Delhi zone came at number five. Polishetty Kartikeya is at 6th position, Prateek Sahu is 7th, Dheeraj Kurukunda is 8th in All India Rank.
IITs prepare for Web 3.0 future, to provide crypto, blockchain, NFT courses

As per FICCI-EYs 2022 report, Web3.0 is christened as the game-changer for the internet and can add nearly $1.1 trillion to India's GDP by 2032. It also mentions that the metaverse will drastically evolve, lead several disruptions, build consumer experience, and by 2025 have over 50 million avatars in its space.

NIRF rankings 2022 has been announced for 11 categories including, overall, university, management, college, pharmacy, medical, engineering, architecture, ARIIA (Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements), law and research institutions. For the seventh year in a row, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has maintained its top position as the best engineering college in India.
