In the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF Rankings 2023) released on Monday, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras secured the 1st position in the engineering colleges category. The NIRF Rankings can be accessed on the official website of NIRF – nirfindia.org. Maintaining its previous year's position, IIT Madras remains at number 1, while IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay hold the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. This year, IIT Kharagpur has lost its 5th position to IIT Roorkee and slipped down to 6th place. In the NIRF 2023 Rankings, Jadavpur University has made it to the Top 10 ranking in the engineering institutes category. Similar to the previous year, the IITs continue to dominate the top 10 positions. Here are the top 10 Engineering colleges in India according to the NIRF Rankings, along with their scores:
