Singh lambasted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing them of attempting to dismantle the AAP and spreading tyranny across the nation. Reflecting on his six-month stint behind bars, he praised the unwavering support of AAP members, from grassroots activists to top leaders, for Kejriwal. He reiterated that the AAP's foundation lies in grassroots movements, emphasizing their fearlessness in the face of adversity.

The national convener of AAP, presently under judicial custody, raised concerns about the "timing" of his arrest by the agency, alleging that it contravenes fundamental constitutional principles such as democracy, free and fair elections, and ensuring a level playing field. His legal team argued that the arrest was orchestrated based on unverified statements of co-accused turned approvers, likening it to a "fixed match".

According to the ED affidavit, statements from individuals such as Ashok Patel, Kiran Bhai Patel, and Jagdish Sharma unveiled various channels used to transfer the money to Goa. These included approximately Rs 12 crore from Ashok Chandu Bhai of Asheel Corporation, Rs 7.1 crore from Devang Solanki of KS Enterprise, Rs 16 crore from Kirti Amba Lal, Rs 7.5 crore from Neelkanth, and Rs 2 crore from Ma Ambey.

Kejriwal's lawyer Ramesh Gupta previously informed Special Judge Kaveri Baweja of Rouse Avenue Court that Kejriwal doesn't oppose the extension of custody. Consequently, the ED contends that Kejriwal has voluntarily waived his right to contest his current custody status and cannot now claim it to be unlawful.

Set to take place on March 31, the rally is themed ‘Tanasahi Hatao, Loktantra Bachao’ (eradicate dictatorship, uphold democracy).

During a digital media briefing, Sunita Kejriwal emphasized that her husband has been confronting what she referred to as the "most corrupt and dictatorial forces" in the nation. She urged people to extend their support through their blessings and prayers.

Kejriwal, implicated in the excise policy investigation by the Enforcement Directorate, appeared before Special Judge Kaweri Baweja at the Rouse Avenue Court following the conclusion of his initial six-day ED custody on Thursday. Judge Baweja, presiding over the case, had initially remanded him to ED custody on March 22.

Kejriwal is anticipated to appear before a city court following the conclusion of his custodial remand by the ED. Sunita emphasized on Wednesday that no incriminating evidence was discovered during multiple raids conducted by the central investigative agency.

Saurabh Bharadwaj, the Health Minister of Delhi, emphasized Kejriwal's concern for the healthcare of the state, despite being in ED custody. He assured the public that the Chief Minister is deeply troubled by the potential suffering of the people of Delhi due to his detention and has promptly acted to address any issues arising, such as difficulties faced in accessing tests at Mohalla clinics. Bharadwaj reassured the citizens that Kejriwal remains dedicated to their welfare even while confined.

The meeting between Sunita Kejriwal and the Delhi CM took place at the ED office situated on the A.P.J Abdul Kalam Road. This marks her third visit to meet Kejriwal, following her meetings on Saturday and Sunday at the same location.
