Arvind Kejriwal, apprehended on March 21 and subsequently remanded to ED custody until March 28 by a Delhi court, is confronted with allegations of involvement in a conspiracy linked to the formulation of an excise policy favoring specific individuals.

Additionally, Kejriwal has been accused of soliciting kickbacks from liquor businessmen in exchange for favorable treatment, as asserted by the probe agency.

However, the AAP leader vehemently refuted the accusations leveled against him.

The ED has asserted that Kejriwal is the "kingpin and key conspirator" in the now-defunct excise policy, acting in collusion with AAP ministers, leaders, and other individuals.
