Prior to his engagement in West Bengal, PM Modi launched the NDA's Lok Sabha campaign in Bihar on April 4th with a fervent rally, marking his first appearance in the state since the election announcement. Addressing a crowd at Jamui around midday, PM Modi initiated the campaign in Bihar, where Jamui is one of the four Lok Sabha seats set for polls in the initial phase on April 19th. BJP ally Chirag Paswan, who has passed on the baton to his brother-in-law Arun Bharti after representing Jamui, a reserved seat, for two consecutive terms, lauded the Prime Minister for his gesture.
