Rift appears in RJD over support to Minister on 'Ram Charit Manas' row

If the party has taken a decision to object to Ram Charit Manas and Ram, a meeting should be organized in presence of Tejashwi Yadav and a decision taken then. Mishra, on the other hand, blamed Mandal's party and the Mahagathbandhan for making Nitish Kumar government autocratic.

A total of 63 members voted for the bill while 23 votes were against it.The Congress, Samajwadi Party, Rashtriya Janata Dal, and the DMK staged protests while the Biju Janata Dal walked out of the House.The UCC has been in the BJP manifesto for many elections while the private member bill was pending but was not introduced.
