The Enforcement Directorate on Friday conducted raids on more than 15 places including RJD leader and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav's residence in the national capital, in connection with the land for job scam issue. In a series of tweets, she also criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the ED raids. You should be ashamed of yourselves for.

Of the 15 places, one belongs to Abu Dujana, the former RJD MLA of RJD and close associate of Lalu Prasad Yadav. A team of ED officials conducted raids at the house and office of Abu Dujana in Phulwarisharif locality this morning. He is facing charges under the disproportionate assets act. Dujana was elected as RJD MLA from Sursand in Sitamarhi district in the past.

"Upendra Kushwaha is a part of NDA and he is continuously giving statements against Nitish Kumar. When he joined the JD-U, he was saying that he would make the JD-U a number one party in the state... Now, the people of Bihar know where he is sitting. He is not faithful to anyone," Umesh Kushwaha said.

Questioned on the matter in the Assembly, Sudhakar Singh said: "Whatever I gave statements so far, all of them are in public domain. The people have elected me and sent me to Vidhan Sabha. Hence, I came here and asked questions related to their interest. I am guided by the people of Bihar and I don't bother about the opinions of others. I will ask questions to the chief minister. If anyone criticises me, they are free to do so."

The CBI had filed a charge sheet in the case on October 10, 2022, against 16 persons including the former Bihar Chief Minister's wife and daughter and sanction was then obtained to prosecute them. Special Judge Geetanjali Goel of Rouse Avenue Courts observed that, prima facie, the on-record report shows that offences have been committed under diffrent sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Corruption Act.

A purported video of RJD national vice president Uday Narayan Chaudhary speaking to Yadav over phone went viral on social media, where Yadav was heard telling his supporters to target "upper castes but not the entire Hindu community".

The JD(U) has been demanding action against the education minister while the RJD is backing him.
