Addressing party leaders and supporters on the occasion of 27th formation day of the party here, Lalu Prasad said: “The price rise of every essential is very high. Common people of the country are upset with it. Leaders of BJP-RSS have distorted the atmosphere of the country. They are pushing people to hatred."

In a video statement, RJD Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha said: “The place from where the Prime Minister gave guarantee is the place which is known of 50 per cent corruption. On the same issue, BJP lost Karnataka.” He said that the language used by the Prime Minister is saddening for the respect and pride of the country.

"Now I am completely fit and will fix the BJP and Narendra Modi. The meeting that took place today where all leaders have kept their views and it has been decided that next meeting will take place in Shimla and there we will discuss how to take it forward," Lalu Prasad said at a press conference here.

The meeting was held at the Chief Minister's residence.The Bihar Chief Minister takes review meetings of every department these days and ministers concerned are normally present there. Even Tejashwi Yadav was present on several occasions during the meetings of his departments chaired by Nitish Kumar.

Sources claimed that Tejashwi Yadav stayed away from the event only because of Kanhaiya Kumar. The organisers, who had invited Tejashwi Yadav as the chief guest for the event, waited for long besides trying to contact the RJD leader's office repeatedly, but no response came from there.

A team of CBI officials reached Sandesh block -- a native place of Agiao RJD MLA Kiran Yadav -- this morning and launched a search which is still on. Kiran's husband Arun Yadav, also a former RJD MLA from Sandesh Assembly constituency, is a known sand trader.

The former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad, following a successful kidney transplant in Singapore after his daughter Rohini Acharya donated one of her kidneys to her father, is currently recuperating at his eldest daughter and RJD Rajya Sabha member Misa Bharti's official residence in Delhi.
