Speaking at a rally in Banswara, Rajasthan, Modi referenced a previous statement by former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh suggesting that minorities should be the primary recipients of the country's resources.

Addressing the 2550th Nirvana Mahotsav of Lord Mahavir at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, PM Modi underscored India's commitment to the timeless principles of truth and non-violence on the world stage. He emphasized that the solutions to contemporary global challenges lie embedded in India's ancient culture and traditions, positioning the nation as a harbinger of unity in a fractured world, aptly dubbed as 'Vishwa Bandhu'.

During the inauguration of the 2550th Nirvana Mahotsav of Lord Mahavir at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, PM Modi asserted India's commitment to advocating for truth and non-violence on the international stage. He underscored that India's ancient culture holds solutions to contemporary global challenges, positioning the country as a "Vishwa Bandhu" (friend of the world) in a fractured global landscape.

Modi expressed the nation's desire to steer clear of the pre-2014 era, suggesting a collective aspiration for progress and change. He accused the Congress of corroding the country's foundation with nepotism and corruption, asserting that the electorate's frustration is a direct consequence of these transgressions. Despite the Congress's past electoral prowess, Modi pointed out its diminishing influence, symbolized by its inability to field candidates in a significant number of constituencies.

Addressing queries in an interview with the Malayalam news channel Asianet, broadcasted on Saturday, the Prime Minister responded to allegations from the Opposition accusing the government of "misusing" investigative agencies and targeting opposition figures.

Venugopal, currently contesting from the Alappuzha Lok Sabha constituency, reacted to Modi's recent interview with a TV channel where he downplayed Rahul Gandhi. He questioned Modi's stance, highlighting that Wayanad, where Rahul contested, is indeed a part of India. He also reminded that Modi himself contested from two seats in the past.

Speaking passionately at a rally held at the Palace Grounds, PM Modi urged citizens to stay vigilant and alert in light of these distressing occurrences. He lambasted the Congress for the deteriorating law and order situation, stating, "Our daughters are under attack, bombs are detonating in markets, and assaults are being launched merely for practicing religious hymns. These are not isolated events. Against this backdrop, I urge the people of Bengaluru and Karnataka to remain vigilant against the Congress."

The primary phase witnessed the largest number of constituencies going to polls. The Election Commission (EC) labeled the turnout as "high", underscoring the predominantly peaceful conduct of the voting process.
