The official said that 4,786 houses were set on fire and 386 religious structures were destroyed or vandalised.

The agenda included a broad range of areas of bilateral cooperation including energy security, trade and investment, defence and security, healthcare, food security, culture and community welfare issues among others, the External Affairs Ministry said.

During his meeting with the Canadian prime minister after the conclusion of the G20 summit, Modi told Trudeau that these elements are promoting secessionism and inciting violence against Indian diplomats, damaging diplomatic premises, and threatening the Indian community in Canada and their places of worship, a statement issued by the External Affairs said.

Brazil will hold the G20 presidency for the next one year. PM Modi expressed hope that under Brazil's presidency, G20 will take forward the common agenda of the grouping further ahead. He also congratulated the Brazilian president on the occasion.

On the second day of the G20 summit, world leaders on Sunday paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat here amid drizzle. Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the world leaders at Rajghat with a gift of khaadi shawl. 

Official sources later informed that among all G20 presidencies, India's G20 presidency has been the most ambitious one as a total of 112 documents have been adopted during its tenure.  Out of these 112 documents, there have been 73 outcome documents and 39 annexed documents. 

AU chair and Comoros President Azali Assoumani then took his seat among world leaders at the invitation of External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar. "The post-Covid world is suffering from trust deficit, and the (Ukraine) war has deepened it further, he said, adding that we need to walk together for global good," PM Modi said.
