Fuel price rise continues unabated, petrol over Rs 115/ltr in Mumbai

Accordingly, the pump price of petrol in Delhi increased by 35 paise per litre to jump to Rs 109.69 a litre while diesel prices also increased by the same margin to reach Rs 98.42 a litre, according to a price notification of state-owned fuel retailers. In the financial capital Mumbai, petrol prices have now risen to Rs 115.50 per litre while diesel to Rs 106.63 a litre, the highest among all metros.
China now rations diesel as drivers wait for days to refuel

Some truck drivers are having to wait for days to refuel, according to posts on social media site Weibo, the report said. China is currently in the midst of a massive power crunch, as coal and natural gas shortages have closed factories and left homes without power. And this latest issue is only likely to contribute to an ongoing global supply chain crisis, say analysts, the report added.

Accordingly, the pump price of petrol in Delhi increased by 35 paise per litre to jump to Rs 107.94 a litre while diesel prices also increased by the same margin to reach Rs 96.67 a litre, according to a price notification of state-owned fuel retailers. In the financial capital Mumbai, petrol prices have now risen to Rs 113.80 per litre while diesel to Rs 104.8 5 a litre, the highest among all metros. Across the country as well petrol and diesel prices increased between 35-40 paise per litre, but their retail rates varied depending on the level of local taxes on petroleum products.
Relief for consumers as fuel rates unchanged for 2nd day

The petrol and diesel prices had spiked to historic highs after the constant hikes in the fuel prices in the past couple of months. The unchanged fuel price in the national capital Delhi is Rs 107.59 a litre for petrol and Rs 96.32 for diesel as per the price notification of state-owned fuel retailers. The fuel prices in Mumbai also did not witness any spike and remained at Rs 113.46 per litre for petrol and Rs 104.48 a litre for diesel.
Fuel price hike paused after 5 days of increase

The country witnessed the highest-ever level of petrol and diesel prices in the month of October. Fuel prices remained constant on October 18 and 19 but it witnessed a hike for four consecutive days thereafter. After the price rise for five consecutive days between October 20 to 24, it was paused on October 25.
After oil, gas price may see surge upsetting CNG, PNG rates

As per an assessment of gas market done by ICICI Securities, prices in gas futures market is estimated to rise by US$4.1/mmbtu to US $7.35/mmbtu in H1FY23 and by another US$3.6/mmbtu (49 per cent) to US $10.95/mmbtu in H2FY23. This would mean that three main players supplying CNG and PNG -- Green Gas (GGL), Mahanagar Gas (MGL) and Indraprastha Gas (IGL) would need to hike CNG prices by 50-56 per cent in April-October, 2022 to fully pass on APM gas price rise to keep their margins at lofty levels.

Fuel prices hiked again for second straight day, reaches highest ever mark

The petrol price in Delhi on Thursday touched its highest ever mark of Rs106 per litre, an increase of 35 paise from Wednesday. The diesel price, on the other hand, rose by its highest ever margin this year by 45 paise to Rs95.27 per litre. However, the petrol price in Mumbai, at Rs112.45 per litre, was highest in all metro cities in India. Diesel in Mumbai was also sold at Rs103.36 per litre, highest price again in all metro cities.
No increase in fuel prices for 2nd consecutive day on Tuesday

With no revision, the price of petrol in Delhi remained Rs 105.84 a litre and Rs 111.77 per litre in Mumbai, according to a price notification of state-owned fuel retailers. In Mumbai, diesel rates also remained static at Rs 102.52 a litre; while in Delhi it costs Rs 94.57, the same as on Sunday. The price pause comes after the rates rose for four straight days when the rates of both petrol and diesel rose by Rs 1.40 paise per litre. There was no change in the rates also on October 12 and 13.
