Excise liquor scam: CBI issues Look Out Circular against Manish Sisodia, 13 others

This has been done to stop them flying abroad. During the searches, CBI could not find two accused. The CBI has made Sisodia as accused number one in its FIR. The CBI's FIR has been lodged under sections 120B (Criminal Conspiracy) and 477A (Falsification of accounts) of the IPC.
'Computer, my personal phone seized': Sisodia after CBI raids

"Their (CBI) behaviour was good. They have not called me for any investigation yet. They have seized my computer and personal phone. They have also taken away some files," Sisodia said. "Me and my family has supported the probe agency. We have not done any wrongdoing and any corruption. That's why we are not afraid of anything," he added.

A CBI team reached Sisodia's residence early in the morning. The probe teams were also raiding the houses of former Commissioner Excise E. Gopikrishan, two public servants and others. Sisodia claimed that he was innocent and the CBI was working at the behest of the Centre.

CBI gets 7 days custody of four 1993 Bombay blast accused

A source told IANS that a Mumbai court has given the probe agency seven days custody of the four, identified as Abu Bakar alias Abdul Gafoor, Syed Qureshi alias Rahat Jan Qureshi, Mohammad Shoaib Qureshi alias Shoaib Bawa, and Mohammad Yusuf Ismail alias Yusuf Bhatka for its investigation.

'Yogi' fraud case: CBI grills NSE ex-CEO Ramakrishna

Ramakrishna, who reached the Mumbai office of the CBI in the afternoon to record her statements, is being questioned by a team of senior officials, including one woman. According to sources, the CBI has asked her around 50 questions, including how long she had been sending mails to the "yogi", was she given any cut for sharing classified information, if so, where she invested this money.
Lookout circular for Chitra Ramakrishna, 2 others

Sources told IANS that Ramakrishna and the other two were flight risks and hence the Lookout Circular (LOC). Arrests in the case are now more likely to happen, said the source. The CBI is currently grilling Chitra Ramakrishna at one of its offices in Mumbai. She was earlier called by the CBI to join the investigation immediately.
GAIL Director held by CBI in bribery case, sent to one day agency custody

Alwar rape case to be handed over to CBI

A recommendation in this matter shall be sent to the Central government soon by the state government, the Chief Minister's Office said in a press release. The decision was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday via video conferencing. The meeting was attended by senior officials and doctors. A 14-year-old deaf and dumb girl was found in a bleeding condition in Alwar.
