'Larger conspiracy by Centre', K. Kavitha moves SC against ED's summons
The ED has summoned her for a third time on March 16. Kavitha's plea said her name has not been mentioned in the FIR registered by the CBI in connection with alleged irregularities in Delhi excise policy. Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is already under the ED's custody in the same case.

Sisodia to be produced before court today, ED to seek 10-day custody

He was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on February 26 after quizzing him for several hours. Special CBI Judge M.K. Nagpal of the Rouse Avenue Courts sent Sisodia to 14 days of judicial custody on March 6. The CBI was given his remand for seven days before the judge sent him to judicial custody till March 20. The judge had directed the CBI to file.

A senior CBI official told IANS that Sharma joined the probe on Tuesday and was being interrogated. "While questioning Sisoda, his PA's alleged role emerged after which we decided to question him," said the official. Sisodia was sent to judicial custody by a Special CBI court after the probe agency told the court that he wasn't required for further interrogation. CBI has filed one chargesheet.

According to sources, the health condition of Lalu Prasad is not good after his knee surgery and he is not able to speak. On Monday, Lalu Yadav's wife and former chief minister Rabri Devi was interrogated for almost four hours in Bihar by the probe agency. A senior CBI official, on condition of anonymity, told IANS that it was only further investigation on the basis of fresh inputs and evidence.

"I have already asked the CBI about why it is bothering to conduct raids on our house every month. I also offered to open an office inside our residence. They are coming to Patna and spending the money of taxpayers. We always cooperate with the central agency but they have not found any proof of it," Tejashwi Yadav said.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress General Secretary, said, "Those opposition leaders who have not bowed down against BJP are being subjected to harassment through ED and CBI. Today, they are torturing Rabri Devi while Lalu Prasad and his family are being harassed for years because they did not bow down. BJP wants to crush the opposition voice."

The CBI has summoned RJD chief and former Union Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi and 14 others under land for job scam in Patna and Rabri Devi had given the CBI time for questioning on Monday. A 12-member team in three SUVs reached Rabri Devi's residence at 10 a.m. on Monday and stayed for 4 hours, coming out at 2 p.m.
