CBI gets prosecution sanction against Lalu Prasad in land for job case

An official said the CBI furnished the prosecution sanction letter before the concerned court. The CBI had in October last year in its chargesheet named 16 accused including Lalu Prasad, his wife, daughter, then GM of Central Railways, then Chief Personnel Officer (CPO), private persons, and some candidates in the matter.

Chanda Kochchar, her businessman husband Deepak Kochhar and Videocon Group head Venugopal Dhoot are currently in CBI custody for their alleged role in the ICICI Bank loan fraud case. While the Kochhars were nabbed last Friday, Dhoot was arrested by the CBI on Monday.
CBI raids educational institution owned by Karnataka Congress President Shivakumar

The sleuths raided the National Education Foundation located in Rajarajeshwarinagar in Bengaluru and conducted verification of documents. Shivakumar is the chairman of the foundation and his daughter Ishwarya is the secretary. Shivakumar stated that CBI has conducted raids on his educational institutions.
Delhi liquor case: Kavitha's questioning by CBI continues for over 6 hours

A team of CBI officials were recording the statement of the Member of Legislative Council (MLC) of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) at her Banjara Hills residence. The officials, including a woman, arrived in two vehicles amid tight security around 11 a.m. and since then the questioning continued. Sources said there was a lunch break during the questioning.

A team of CBI officials will examine the Member of Legislative Council of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (TRS) at her residence in Banjara Hills at 11 a.m. Ahead of the questioning, hoardings, installed by her supporters, have come up outside her residence. "Daughter of fighter will never fear. We are with Kavithakka," reads one of the hoardings.

The CBI informed her on Tuesday that a team will visit her residence in Hyderabad at 11 a.m. on December 11 for her examination and recording of her statement in connection with the investigation in the case. The central agency has asked her to confirm availability on the said date and time.
'Can meet on Dec 6', KCR's daughter Kavitha responds to CBI notice in Delhi liquor policy case

"I've been issued a CBI notice under Section 160 of CrPC seeking my clarification. I have informed the authorities that I can meet them at my residence in Hyderabad on December 6 as per their request," Kavita said on Friday. The CBI notice dated December 2 said, "During the course of investigation of the subject cited case, certain facts have emerged which you may be acquainted.

Not satisfied with Manish Sisodia's answers, CBI mulling to summon him again

Sisodia was grilled by the CBI officials for about nine hours on Monday, during which about 50 questions were asked. However, the CBI sources said that the agency sleuths didn't get satisfactory answers from the Deputy CM. Now there are chances that Sisodia is likely to be summoned again.
