No reservation based on religion till I am alive: PM Modi Vows to Uphold Secular Principles

"The Constitution explicitly prohibits reservation based on religion. However, certain political factions, under the guise of appeasement, are contemplating diverting the quotas designated for SC/ST and OBC communities to Muslims. They harbor intentions of encroaching upon various facets of our lives, including our cultural symbols like the 'mangalsutra', our agricultural lands, and our properties. Even former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh once stated that Muslims hold the primary claim over resources. The Congress party seeks to replicate Karnataka's reservation model nationwide," PM Modi remarked during a rally in Dhaurahra.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted on Sunday his unwavering commitment to upholding the integrity of the Constitution, particularly concerning the sensitive issue of religious-based reservation.

He further criticized the Congress and allied groups, accusing them of devising strategies to redistribute the nation's wealth to serve their electoral interests.

"I shall stand resolute like an impenetrable barrier against such designs. They advocate for the reinstatement of Article 370 in Kashmir, but I shall thwart any such attempts," PM Modi asserted.

The Prime Minister also highlighted opposition parties' purported plans to abolish the free ration scheme, terminate healthcare initiatives for the underprivileged, and discontinue the Vande Bharat train services, should they come to power.

"Will they even consider converting the Ram Mandir into a hospital or dismantling the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor? To prevent such scenarios, your support for the BJP is imperative. Each vote cast for the BJP resonates with my vision. I seek your blessings as I have an array of tasks awaiting fulfillment," PM Modi expressed.

He claimed that while Yogi Adityanath's administration had eliminated all flaws, the previous Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh had made life more difficult for sugarcane growers.

"Yogi Adityanath has given the same amount of money to sugarcane farmers in seven years that Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party did not give in 10 years of their rule,"  PM Modi disclosed, while also underscoring the government's endeavors to establish Dhaurahra as a banana farming hub.
