“Five-time Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has had a long political career. Being a former Union minister, he has all the qualities to become the next Prime Minister of the country. Every socialist leader wants to make Nitish Kumar the Prime Minister,” said Hazari, who on Saturday went to the CM's residence to attend a meeting held under Nitish Kumar's chair which was attended by JD-U spokespersons and officials of different wings.

At that time, JD-U was part of the NDA. In the general elections, the bigger parties like the BJP and the JD-U had contested 17 seats each in Bihar, while the Ram Vilash Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Party were given the six remaining seats.

"I do not have any personal ambition to achieve post. I just want to unite all opposition parties. We are expecting some more parties to join us in Mumbai. The meeting will also decide who will fight from which place. Every thing will be finalised in Mumbai meeting," Kumar said while inspecting the Lohia Path Chakra in Patna.

A letter in this regard was issued from the office of Education Department Secretary Baidnath Prasad, dated August 21 (Letter No. 1785).   

“Everyone knows that most IAS, IPS officers, doctors, builders, contractors, ministers, and political leaders consume liquor after 10 p.m., but they do not get penalszed. On the other hand, poor labourers who drink at the end of a hard day's work become criminals as they become easy targets for the police and the excise department,” Manjhi said.

“India reached a position of bankruptcy and its financial situation is worse than Pakistan. The Narendra Modi government is responsible for it,” Kumar said.

The park was renamed by Bihar's environment, forest and climate change minister Tej Pratap Yadav by renaming the Atal Bihari Vajpayee park as Coconut Park on Monday.

“I paid tribute to former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his death anniversary in Delhi. I had no dialogue with anyone in Delhi. I was there only for a limited period of time,” the Chief Minister said.

The state BJP also uploaded three photos of PM Narendra Modi to target the opposition alliance INDIA. Modi has said that leaders involved in the opposition alliance are advocates of dynasty, appeasement, and corruption and they do not have any acceptance in the country.

His remarks have a significant importance in state politics as Paswan has been claiming that he will contest the 2024 Lok Sabha election from Hajipur. However, it is now being speculated that Paswan has cracked a deal with his uncle and sitting MP from Hajipur Pashupati Kumar Paras.
