This marks Gandhi's inaugural visit to Bihar since the 2020 assembly poll campaign. A public meeting is on the agenda for Kishanganj, followed by a sizable rally in the neighboring district of Purnea on Tuesday, and another one in Katihar a day later, as outlined by Congress Legislature Party leader Shakil Ahmed Khan.

Departing for West Bengal on Thursday through Araria district, Gandhi will return to Bihar in a few days via Jharkhand, as indicated by the state Congress president Akhilesh Prasad Singh.
