The team, headed by an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP)-level officer, arrived at the official residence of the Chief Minister located in the Civil Lines area of north Delhi. This development follows a similar attempt on Friday evening when Crime Branch teams had visited the homes of both Kejriwal and Delhi Minister Atishi.

Tanwar, a Dalit leader, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, stating that the country has changed in the last 10 years. He expressed his good fortune in joining the BJP ahead of the Ram temple consecration ceremony.

This development follows discussions between the AAP and Congress, both part of the INDIA bloc, regarding seat sharing for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. By forming an alliance for the Chandigarh mayoral polls on January 18, it is anticipated that the AAP and Congress will have an advantage over the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the two-way contest.

Kejriwal asserted, "My biggest asset is my honesty. These people (BJP) want to malign my image by making false allegations and sending false summons."

The investigation is linked to alleged irregularities in the recruitment of staff for the Delhi Waqf Board. These searches are being carried out under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

Despite missing the second summons from the ED related to the alleged excise policy money laundering case, Kejriwal, who is attending the vipassana session from December 19 to 30, conveyed in his reply to the financial probe agency that he is prepared to comply with all legally valid summonses.

The AAP announced, "In the absence of Sanjay Singh, the party has announced Raghav Chadha as the leader of AAP in the Rajya Sabha."

He highlighted the alleged government tactics to incarcerate AAP leaders using agencies like the ED and CBI to curb Kejriwal's rising influence.
