The sources revealed that Kejriwal labeled the summons as illegal, much like the previous ones, and asserted that they are politically motivated. He emphasized that he has lived his life with honesty and transparency, indicating that he has nothing to hide.

The Chief Minister had been summoned by the ED to appear on December 21 at its headquarters in connection with the alleged excise policy scam. Notably, Kejriwal had also skipped the ED summons on November 2.

It's worth mentioning that the ED had previously arrested former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh in connection with the same case.
