The court sent Singh to 14-day judicial custody in connection with a money laundering case being probed by the ED pertaining to the now-scrapped excise policy.

He was produced before the Special Judge M. K. Nagpal of Rouse Avenue Court on expiry of his three-day ED custody.

According to ED sources, the agency sleuths carried out searches at the premises of Khan in connection with a money laundering case.

Speaking to the media here, Kejriwal said, “AAP will fight with full strength in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh."

These bungalows in question are allocated to lawmakers who have served as ministers, chief ministers, or governors. Earlier, the interim order by Additional District Judge Sudhanshu Kaushik of Patiala House Courts had directed the Rajya Sabha Secretariat to refrain from evicting Chadha from the bungalow without following due legal process.

The financial probe agency on Wednesday arrested Singh after carrying out searches at his residence in the North Avenue area. 

"We want to clarify that our question yesterday was not to implicate anyone. Suppose if as per the prosecution if A is not being prosecuted can B or C be prosecuted? " he asked, adding that the query was posed in this context.

A top ED official told IANS that Singh has been put under arrest under the sections of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) but did not share more details.
