Dhanteras kick-started on a positive note with significant consumer demand for new vehicles. 

The Prime Minister's Office convened a meeting on Monday, bringing together top officials to assess the next phase of electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing within the nation, a meeting that prominently featured discussions surrounding Tesla's investment proposition

Chan Ryu, Director, Daewoo India Operations said: "In our initial stage, we are introducing a range of power & energy products, encompassing batteries for both four-wheelers and two-wheelers, as well as inverter and solar batteries. Additionally, we will offer a variety of HUPS inverters and UPS systems designed for both online and offline applications, featuring wall-mounted options with integrated lithium batteries.

The energy world is set to change significantly by 2030, based on the current policy settings, which includes almost 10 times as many electric cars on the road worldwide, the International Energy Agency (IEA) said on Tuesday.

They said while the energy source has to majorly turn green, for widespread adoption of EV’s necessary infrastructure has to be created hand in hand in an integrated manner.

The vehicle will be shipped to destinations including Latin America, Middle East and Africa, the company said.

Launched at a price of Rs 1,14,999 (ex-Showroom price), the scooter comes available in four colours -- matte black, red, grey and white, which is now open for booking across India, with deliveries beginning from the upcoming festive season.
