Bollywood hunk Sanjay Dutt has again been in the news, this time before his next release Baaghi 4. The actor has recently added a new gem to his garage—a Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC for an eye-watering Rs 3.39 crore (ex-showroom). For its extravagance, this SUV is one of the poshest and priciest German automaker cars in India.
Mercedes-Maybach GLS has been the sweetheart of Bollywood's crème de la crème for ages, and Sanjay Dutt becomes a part of an illustrious list of owners. Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kriti Sanon, Arjun Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Shilpa Shetty, Shahid Kapoor, Ram Charan, and Taapsee Pannu are some of the other celebrities who have this luxury SUV parked in their driveways.
Social media glimpses show that Dutt chose a dual-tone finish with Obsidian Black and Rubellite Red—exclusive paint option costing about Rs 18.64 lakh. The premium company also has a range of other striking combinations, including Obsidian Black with Kalahari Gold and High-tech Silver with Obsidian Black.
Step inside, and the GLS 600 4MATIC fails to impress. Its interior is a treat for comfort and technology, offering reclining rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 27-speaker audio system, 64-colour ambient lighting, and a host of other premium features.
The 2025 model Sanjay Dutt drives features eye-catching updates, such as a new grille and monoblock wheels. Under the bonnet, it still uses the powerful 4.0-liter V8 motor combined with a 48V mild-hybrid setup, churning out 557 hp and 730 Nm of torque. The hybrid bit on its own adds 250 Nm and 22 hp. A 9-speed auto transmission takes care of the gear changes, enabling the bulky SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in merely 4.9 seconds given its bulk.
