MG Motor launches new EV with Autonomous Level 2 tech in India

Priced at Rs 27.89 lakh, the new EV will provide a driving range of 461 km on a single charge with its 50.3kWh advanced prismatic battery, according to the company. With ADAS technology, users will get an enhanced driving experience, providing assistance, control, and comfort in various driving situations. 
Hyundai Exter SUV launched In India, prices start at Rs 6 lakh

The Exter SUV, already unveiled digitally by Hyundai, will be a direct rival to the Tata Punch, Citroen C3, and Maruti Suzuki Ignis. For its price, it will also see competition from lower variants of the Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger in the small SUV segment. Despite its small proportions, the Exter comes packed with several features, some of them being segment-first.
Maruti Suzuki begins exports of Fronx model SUV

The first batch of 556 vehicles was shipped from Mundra, Mumbai, and Pipavav Ports to destinations in Latin America, Middle East and Africa. “The newly-launched Fronx is an important model in our portfolio, and we are confident that it will augment our ambitious export plans,” Maruti Suzuki India Ltd Managing Director & CEO Hisashi Takeuchi said.

BYD sets new sales record in China in June, sells 2.5 lakh units

Backed by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway, BYD delivered 253,046 cars last month, a 5.3 per cent increase over the 239,092 cars delivered in May, it said in a filing to the Hong Kong stock exchange, reports the South China Morning Post. BYD delivered 1.26 million vehicles to customers in the first quarter of 2023, almost double the figure a year ago.
Tesla produced nearly 480K cars, delivered 466K vehicles in Q2 2023

Among 4,66,000 delivered vehicles, 19,225 were Model S/X, and 4,46,915 were Model 3/Y, the company said in a post on Sunday.The automaker will post its financial results for Q2 2023 after market close on July 19.
Hyundai Motor to launch SUV Exter in July
