He has challenged Yogi Adityanath to get an FIR filed against Rashtriya Swayam Sewak (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat for his statement at an event in Mumbai on Sunday in which he said that all people were created equal by God and differences on the basis of caste and sect were made by priests. "To our maker, we are equal. There is no caste or sect.

“Sanatan Dharma is India’s Rashtriya Dharma. Rising above selfishness, we all connect to Rashtriya Dharma. A campaign should be launched for restoration of our religious places that were desecrated in the past," the UP chief minister said.Giving th example of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Yogi Adityanath said that the construction of a grand temple of Lord Ram is going on after 500 years with the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

A bench headed by Justice B.R. Gavai told the petitioner's counsel that such litigations are meant for page 1 of newspapers. The petition was filed by Naval Kishor Sharma of Mau district. The petitioner moved the apex court challenging the Allahabad High Court order, which dismissed his plea and also imposed a cost of Rs 5,000.

Adityanath, along with a team of top officials from UP, held a road show here ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Global Investor Summit (UPGIS), and addressed leading industrialists, businessmen, bankers, investors, and representatives of industry organisations. At one point, the officials said the auditorium became house-full even as some honchos patiently waited outside to hear out Adityanath.

Yadav was in Jhansi on Monday evening where he met jailed former SP MLA Deep Narain Yadav. The state government's action against SP MLA Irfan Solanki and Deep Narain was a strong message to the party to act in a similar fashion when it comes to power, the SP chief said.

After the meeting, Adityanath tweeted, "Had a wonderful meeting with co-chair and trustee of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation at my official residence in Lucknow today. We had a fruitful discussion regarding better technical cooperation in the fields of health, nutrition, social security and agriculture in UP."

Yogi Adityanath will be the first chief minister of UP to be attending the WEF meeting. A delegation of senior officials from the state industries department will accompany him. Invest UP, the state's investment promotion and facilitation agency, has been delegated the responsibility to make arrangements for the trip and take the help of industry body Confederation of Indian Industries, as and when required.

After Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called Shivpal a pendulum and a football at an election rally in Mainpuri and hours later, his security was scaled down to 'Y' from 'Z' category on Monday, it is now the CBI which has sought permission from the state government to interrogate Shivpal and two senior IAS officers in the riverfront scam case. The Yogi Adityanath government had ordered a CBI probe in the riverfront scam after it came to power in 2017.

Addressing his first election rally in Mainpuri, the Chief Minister targeted the Yadav clan, and said: "Some people have become a football. They should ensure that they are not treated like one. Shivpal Yadav was not even given a chair to sit on and we all saw him sitting on the handle of a chair not so long ago."

Confirming the development, an official spokesperson said: "Following orders from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the case of anomalies in Ayush colleges admission has been referred to the CBI."
