Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, participated in the 'Rudrabhishek' ceremony at Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur to mark the celebration of Holi on Monday.
In addition to his presence at the temple, he conveyed his heartfelt greetings to the citizens of the state, extending wishes for joy and tranquility.
Taking to social media platform X, the Chief Minister expressed his felicitations, saying, "Warm congratulations and heartfelt wishes to the people of our state on the auspicious occasion of Holi, the festival that embodies colors, fervor, affection, happiness, and societal cohesion! May your lives be adorned with the diverse hues of joy, while our communities resonate with the harmonious colors of happiness, serenity, and benevolence."
During his address at the Holika Dahan procession organized by the Holika Dahan Utsav Committee in Pandey Hata on Sunday, Yogi Adityanath emphasized the significance of unity and equality. He emphasized the essence of Holi, advocating for unity among all and the eradication of discrimination from society.
Asserting the imperative nature of eradicating societal disparities, the Chief Minister underscored the importance of unity for the nation's prosperity and resilience. He stressed that collective engagement in national interests, fueled by unity, not only heightens the festive spirit but also fosters enduring societal benefits.
