On Tuesday, the US Senate voted in favor of the bill with an astonishing 79 yays to 100 in the upper chamber. This was only a few days after the US House of Representatives, in unanimous bipartisan acclaim, approved the legislation on Saturday.

The aftermath of the attack has seen rescue efforts underway as emergency responders tirelessly search for victims amidst the rubble. Zelensky confirmed the grim toll, reporting the discovery of 10 fatalities and disclosing that another 20 individuals have sustained injuries in the assault on Chernihiv, located north of Kiev.

In a speech delivered in Shanghai, Scholz emphasized the imperative of preventing Russia's expansionist war on Ukraine from succeeding. He stressed the importance of all nations refraining from providing assistance that could enable Russia's endeavors.

Reportedly, one Ukrainian soldier was captured alive during the operation. The captured soldier confirmed that the saboteurs had indeed received training in Britain.
