The incident unfolded within Russia's borders, where four assailants stormed the Crocus City Hall during a Friday night event. They indiscriminately fired upon attendees, just moments before the scheduled performance by the renowned Soviet-era rock band Picnic and their popular song "Afraid of Nothing."

Reports from the Ukrainian Air Force revealed that Russia unleashed a barrage of 29 cruise missiles launched from 14 Tu-95MC fighters along with 28 Shahed drones targeting various regions of Ukraine. Despite the ferocity of the assault, Ukrainian air defenses managed to intercept and neutralize 18 missiles and 25 drones across southern, northern, central, and western Ukraine, as per Xinhua news agency.

Furthermore, Ukrainian forces have also dealt significant blows to Russian military assets, destroying 6,542 tanks (with an additional 8 destroyed on Saturday), 12,441 armored combat vehicles (with 16 destroyed on Saturday), 9,981 artillery systems (with 29 destroyed on Saturday), and 999 multiple launch rocket systems. Additionally, Ukrainian forces have successfully neutralized 684 air defense systems, 340 aircraft, 325 helicopters, 7,681 unmanned aerial vehicles (with 22 neutralized on Saturday), 1,907 cruise missiles (with 2 neutralized on Saturday), 25 warships/cutters, one submarine, 13,011 motor vehicles (with 23 neutralized on Saturday), and 1,578 units of special equipment.

In a statement posted on the social media platform X, Iran's UN mission emphasized that while there are no legal barriers prohibiting Iran from engaging in ballistic missile sales, the country chooses to abstain from such transactions out of a sense of moral obligation amidst the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.
