Microsoft brings new features on Teams Rooms
Users can leverage all of the new features by updating to Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android update 3, the tech giant said in a statement. A Microsoft Whiteboard session can be launched with just one touch, allowing for instant collaboration.
Google's latest Android 13 update for Pixel devices brings new emojis
According to SamMobile, the beta update brings 21 emoji, ranging from new animals to a bunch of other characters. The update introduced new animal emojis -- donkey, moose, goose, and jellyfish, as well as a wing. Moreover, the blackbird replaces the already existing bluebird, and the update also brings ginger, hyacinth, and pea pod emojis, according to the report.
Google releases 'Switch Access' app in Play Store
The app allows users to interact with their Android device using one or more switches or a keyboard instead of the touchscreen. "Control your phone or tablet using switches or the front camera. You can use switches to select items, scroll, enter text and more," according to the Switch Access about page.
Android 14 may change phone's share menu
The company has long been working on enhancing the share sheet, but since it can only be updated with a new Android version, progress is slow, reports Android Police. Esper's Mishaal Rahman spotted that the tech giant developed an experimental, hidden copy of the share sheet that resides within Android 13.

Android 14 will make devices stay connected to web even as they age
According to SamMobile, it will allow devices to update their root certificates, or digital certificate that belongs to the issuing authority, on the fly, as root certificates on Android devices can currently only be updated via system updates. With the new feature, users will be able to update root certificates on their devices through Google Play Services.
YouTube tests Queue system feature for iOS, Android apps
According to The Verge, the feature has been available on the web for several years and appears in YouTube apps under certain conditions. Upon turning on the feature, users will find a new "Play last in queue" button in the three vertical dots menu on video thumbnails. By tapping it, users will add the video to the bottom of their queue, or create a new queue if they are not watching one.
Android 13 brings Pixel's Personal Safety app to more phones
Currently, on the Google Pixel phones, the Personal Safety application includes several features designed to make sure that users are ready for any type of disaster strike, reports 9To5Google. Users can add or edit critical medical information, assign emergency contacts and get alerts for nearby crises.
