Special Judge M.K. Nagpal on Monday sent Sisodia to the custody of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for five days. The custody ends on March 4. The probe agency arrested Sisodia on February 26 after eight hours of questioning. Sisodia had moved the Supreme Court challenging his arrest by the CBI on Tuesday.

After Sisodia and Satyendar Jain resigned as ministers on Tuesday, Kejriwal had sent a proposal to allot eight portfolios to Gahlot and ten to Anand. A source said that CM Kejriwal has recommended the names of party' MLA Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj for the induction into the cabinet to L-G Saxena. With the new responsibilities given to Gehlot and Anand, both ministers will have now 14 departments each.

Sisodia, who was arrested on Sunday and sent to CBI custody till March 5 on Monday, held 18 portfolios, including Finance and Education. He was also holding charge of Health, which was with Jain, who has been in jail for 10 months now. Kejriwal has accepted their resignations.

Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Saurabh Bhardway said that there is a small cabinet in Delhi which includes six ministers apart from chief minister. Most of the important portfolios were held by these two ministers, who have resigned, in that case two ministers will join the cabinet soon, he said.
