"A CBI officer committed suicide two days earlier. It has come to know that the officer - Jitendra Kumar - was the Deputy Legal Adviser in the Anti-Corruption Branch of the CBI. He was looking after the legality of the fake FIR against me. He was being pressurised to approve the arrest by making a case against me in an illegal way," Manish Sisodia said in a press briefing here.

"Nothing was found in my bank locker today just like nothing was found at my residence during the CBI raid. I am happy that I have got a clean chit," said Manish Sisodia after the probe agency examined his locker at the bank. He also added that the CBI officials treated them well and they also cooperated with them. "The truth has won," he added.

Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia's statement came after the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, V.K. Saxena, sought a report from the Chief Secretary over the delay of two-and-a-half years on the part of the Vigilance Department to act on the Central Vigilance Commission's (CVC) inquiry report on construction of additional classrooms in Delhi government schools on Friday.

In a tweet in Hindi, Manish Sisodia said that he would rather be beheaded than join the BJP. Sisodia and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal are visiting Gujarat's Himmatnagar on Monday and then Bhavnagar on Tuesday, where they will discuss Delhi's model of education, hospitals, and mohalla clinics.

A delegation led by AAP Gujarat in-charge Gulab Singh and the State legal cell president Pranav Thakkar submitted a memorandum to the office of Director General of Police (DGP) on Sunday. The memorandum says, "It has been brought to our knowledge from certain avenues and sources in the media that few anti-social elements inspired by the ideology of the ruling party, are planning to attack Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia."

"All your raids have failed. Nothing has been found. Misappropriation of even a single penny was not found. Now you have issued a look out notice that Manish Sisodia is not available. What is this gimmick, Modi ji? I am roaming freely in Delhi, tell me where to come? I can't find you?," Sisodia said in a tweet in Hindi.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has not clarified so far whether the Look Out Notice (LOC) had been served against Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and 13 others. When approached, the concerned officials, wishing anonymity, said that "they did not have any information in this respect".

Anurag Thakur also gave Manish Sisodia a new name - 'Money Shh...' - saying that he makes money and maintains silence. Addressing the media at the party headquarters a day after the CBI raided the residence and office of Sisodia in connection with the case, Thakur said that the entire country and the world can now see the corruption of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He said Kejriwal is No. 1 in making new records of corruption and after the liquor scam, Sisodia is now even unable to answer the queries of journalists.

The election will be held between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Delhi Chief Minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, Sisodia claimed addressing mediapersons. After the Punjab assembly election, Kejriwal has emerged as an alternative at national level and that is their (BJP's) main concern, Sisodia said.

Sharing the paper cutting of two different newspapers, The New York Times and Khaleej Times, Delhi BJP leaders raised questions how the same article with the same photo by the same author can be published in two different papers. Former Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari shared the pages of both the newspapers and said in Hindi, "Again it has been exposed, same word and same author in New York Times and Khaleej Times. AAP is misusing Delhi people's money to get the photo published by paying money."
