PM Modi Accuses Congress of Supporting Ajmal Kasab: Alleges Cross-Border Activity by Party's 'B Team'

Addressing a rally, PM Modi denounced a statement made by a Congress leader, Vijay Wadettiwar, in Maharashtra regarding the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, deeming it "highly perilous."

In a scathing critique aimed at the Congress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted on Tuesday that the venerable party is now throwing its support behind Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab. He suggested that the Congress' "B Team" across the border has sprung into action as their primary electoral force, "Team A," faces potential defeat in the parliamentary elections.

"It's alarming to witness these Congress members rallying behind the terrorist Ajmal Kasab. Even a former minister from the Congress era, who was closely affiliated with the party leadership, has gone as far as proclaiming Kasab's innocence. Such remarks not only dishonor the innocent lives lost in the Mumbai attacks but also disrespect the security forces who valiantly fought and neutralized the terrorists, including martyrs like Shaheed Tukaram Omble," PM Modi asserted during the rally, aimed at bolstering support for BJP candidate Sujay Vikhe-Patil from Ahmednagar and Shiv Sena candidate Sadashiv Lokhande from the Shirdi constituency.

PM Modi went on to call attention to the barrage of tweets being sent out from across the border to help the Congress' electoral fortunes, saying the Congress is reciprocating by exonerating Pakistan of its complicity in terror attacks.

Turning to the Congress election manifesto, PM Modi called attention to what he described as the party's alignment with the 'Muslim League.'

"The disparity between the priorities and agendas of the NDA and the Congress couldn't be more apparent. Our focus remains steadfast on the development, welfare, security, and dignity of Bharat. Conversely, the Congress appears bereft of substantial discourse on these critical issues," PM Modi remarked.

PM Modi also prophesied the imminent dissolution of the INDI-Aghadi, saying that it was a sand dune that would disintegrate, since the expiration date was June 4.

"INDI-Aghadi strategies are bound to fail as the public anger is palpable, not in India alone but across the border."

None of the ploys of the INDI-Aghadi are resonating with the electorate. With 'Team A' facing setbacks domestically, the 'Team B' of Congress across the border has sprung into action," PM Modi elaborated.

Asserting that the ongoing election is a battle between fulfillment and appeasement, PM Modi emphasized the BJP-NDA's commitment to satisfying the populace through diligent governance, contrasting it with what he characterized as the INDI-Aghadi's strategy of pandering to their vote bank through divisive tactics.
