IAF Announces Victory in Strikes Against Pakistan Under 'Operation Sindoor' with Resounding Success

Operation Sindoor, launched on May 7, was a revenge operation after a fatal Pakistan-supported terror attack on Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which took 26 lives. The lightning-fast and organized military operation was one of the largest operations undertaken by India in recent times.

In a significant press conference conducted by defence officials on Sunday, Air Marshal AK Bharti confirmed that the Indian Air Force (IAF) successfully repelled Pakistan's attempts at violating Indian airspace after India's convincing cross-border operations under 'Operation Sindoor.'

Air Marshal Bharti spoke to the media and said, "Their planes were stopped from flying inside our boundary… certainly, there are casualties on their side which we have caused.

The IAF conducted a sequence of high-impact strikes targeted at key Pakistani military infrastructure. "A call was made to hit where it would hurt, and towards that, in a quick, coordinated, calibrated attack, we hit its air bases, command centers, military infrastructure and air defence on the whole Western front," Bharti elaborated.

Pivotal Pakistani bases were targeted during the assault, such as airfields at Chakala (Nur Khan), Rafiqi, Rahim Yar Khan, Sargodha, Bholari, and Jacobabad. Precision bombing also destroyed air defense radars in Pasrur, Chunian, and Arifwala. Allowing the public to relax, Air Marshal Bharti assured that all Indian pilots were back home, stating, "All our pilots are back home." He further said, "Have we achieved our objectives of decimating the terrorist camps? The reply is a resounding yes, and the outcomes are for the entire world to view.

There were also video clips presented by officials highlighting the destruction caused to the military installations of Pakistan, which emphasized how effective the Indian air campaign had been. Pakistan retaliated by carrying out drone and missile intrusions but those were neutralized by India's air defense mechanisms.

Operation Sindoor is being interpreted as a firm message of deterrence by the Indian Armed Forces. As Air Marshal Bharti highlighted, "We have met our goals that we chose." The forces are on a state of high alert, keeping a vigilant eye on the dynamic security scenario along the frontier.
