Baloch Liberation Army Strikes 51 Sites Across Pakistan, Proclaims 'New Order' in South Asia

Making a forceful statement, the group announced a seismic change in the regional dynamics, stating that "a new order has become inevitable" in South Asia.

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for a massive operation comprising 71 coordinated attacks on over 51 locations in what it called "occupied Balochistan."

Making a forceful statement, the group announced a seismic change in the regional dynamics, stating that "a new order has become inevitable" in South Asia.

In another message, the BLA categorically rejected allegations of being a proxy force for any outside power, rather presenting itself as "a dynamic and decisive party" determining the future of the region.

The recent wave of attacks reportedly targeted Pakistani military convoys, intelligence hubs, and mineral transportation routes—an effort aimed at undermining Islamabad’s control over the province, which is rich in natural resources.

"Let us firmly dismiss the notion that Baloch national resistance is a proxy of any state or authority," the BLA declared, reiterating its position on self-determination. "The BLA is not a pawn and not a silent observer. We have our rightful place in the present and future military, political and strategic composition of this region and are fully cognizant of our role."

The group strongly condemned Pakistan's strategy, blaming it for employing peace negotiations as a cover while engaging in military aggression. "All Pakistan's talk of peace, ceasefire and brotherhood is nothing but a deception, a war strategy and a temporary ploy," the statement warned, advising India and the international community at large not to be fooled by what it called Pakistan's "deceptive peace rhetoric.

Speaking of Islamabad in scathing words, the BLA claimed that Pakistan is "a state whose hands are stained with blood and whose every promise is soaked in it.

On behalf of the group, spokesman Jeeyand Baloch pointed out that the purpose of the recent operations was not merely demolition, but tactical readiness. "While India-Pakistan military tensions were at their peak earlier this week, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) launched another theatre of war for the Pakistani forces as it conducted 71 synchronized attacks, which continued for several hours, at over 51 targets in occupied Balochistan," he said.

He further added that these operations were intended "to test military coordination, ground control, and defensive positions, in order to strengthen readiness for future organised warfare."

In a vitriolic attack on Pakistan's intelligence establishment, the BLA blamed the ISI for backing and nurturing international terrorism. "Pakistan has not only been a breeding ground for global terrorists but also a centre for the state-sponsored development of deadly terrorist groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad and ISIS," the outfit claimed.

"ISI is the network supporting this terrorism… Pakistan has emerged as a nuclear state of aggressive ideology," it went on. The group then called on the international community, and India in particular, to offer support. "If the world, and especially India, gives political, diplomatic and defence support to us, Baloch nation can get rid of this terrorist state," it stated.

The BLA contended that such assistance might assist in the creation of "a peaceful, prosperous and independent Balochistan." The organization also made a dire threat, claiming that Pakistan's uncontrolled path poses a broader danger.

If Pakistan is left to be tolerated then in the next few years very existence of this state can result in the destruction of the whole world," the statement said. "Access to nuclear weapons by an ideological military regime is a time bomb — not just for the subcontinent but for world security.

In turn, Pakistan's Army Chief General Asim Munir sought to downplay the event, saying the disturbances involved about 1,500 people. Balochistan is blessed with rich mineral resources, but the province has been stuck in underdevelopment and neglect.

The central leadership, dominated by the Islamabad-Rawalpindi nexus, has traditionally been charged with plundering Balochistan's resources while overlooking its social and economic concerns. The current insurgency is a testament to one of the longest-running liberation struggles in South Asia, fuelled by decades of neglect and demands for autonomy.
