Foreign students expected to stream back into China as restrictions ease

Analysts said that with China's zero-Covid policy dismantled, more Chinese students were looking abroad to further their education. And with strict quarantine rules ended, foreign students were expected to stream back into China, the South China Morning Post reported. "Chinese study abroad will see a recovery (this) year after many obstacles are removed," said Wang Huiyao, Founder and President of the Centre for China and Globalisation (CCG), a Beijing-based think tank.

In Year 2023, 10th Class exam will contain at least 40% of questions while 12th Class exam will contain at least 30% of questions that will be competency-based and these questions will be containing multiple formats like objective type, constructing response type, assertion, reasoning and case based.

The board examination will begin at 10.30 am. In a statement, the CBSE further said that sufficient gap has been given between two subjects. It also added that other factors such as competitive entrance tests have also been taken into account while deciding the dates for class 10,12 board exams.
CUET-PG 2023 will be conducted from June 1 to 10: UGC chief

According to the UGC Chaiman, the application process for CUET-PG is to start in mid-March 2023. It is a great opportunity for students to try for admission to multiple universities in post-graduate programmes using the CUET-PG score, he added. For CUET-PG, universities can complete their admission process by the end of July 2023 and begin the academic sessions by August 1 2023, the UGC chief said.

According to a government figure presented in the Lok Sabha last week, six lakh Indian students went abroad for higher education till November, this year, while in 2021, the number was 4.44 lakh. The data states that Canada, Germany, Australia, the US and Italy are the top five countries where Indian students go for further studies.
