Earlier a plea was filed with the Bombay High Court by the petitioner on the behalf of the JEE Aspirants demanding to defer the January session examination in April 2023 and relax the 75 per cent eligibility criteria in which the court stated its order that the deferment of the examination will be making a cascading effect and it would not be appropriate to restrain the NTA from organizing a pan India examination. The High Court also stated that if the student doesn’t perform well in the January 2023 Session examination of JEE Main, he can appear in the April Session.

The NTA will be concluding the registration process for the January session examination of JEE Main on 12th of January 2023 till 9 pm and the application fees can be submitted tomorrow till 11:50 Pm. The JEE Main January session exam will be conducted on 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 January 2023.
