Telangana cancels Class 10 exams in view of Covid surge
The decision has been taken considering the present pandemic situation prevailing in the state and also keeping in view the decision of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to cancel the Class 10 exams, Special Chief Secretary, Chitra Ramchandran, said.
Goa to go ahead with Class X, XII exams: Official
Shetye said that students who are in quarantine would be taken to isolated centres, where they would be made to appear for the exams with assistance from the health department staff. Class XII exams are scheduled to begin from April 24, while Class X exams are scheduled to start from May 13.
Doctors move SC to postpone NEET-PG exam amid Covid crisis
The petitioners contended that holding the exam amid the pandemic is in a way pressurizing the graduate doctors on a pan-India level when the government has already postponed the examinations for Class 10 and 12 students.
UP Board exams put off, schools shut till May 15
All Classes from 1 to 12 will also remain closed till May 15. The government spokesman said that fresh dates for the examinations would be announced sometime in May. Earlier, the board examinations were scheduled to begin on May 8.
Fate of UP Board students remains undecided
UP Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma, who also holds the portfolio of the secondary education minister, said, "Every year about 56 to 57 lakh students appear in UP Board examinations for classes 10 and 12. The board exams were to be held initially from April 24. But they were postponed to May 8 following the steep rise in the Covid infection."

The decision was taken in a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi here amid demand from students, teachers, parents and other stakeholders to cancel it. The CBSE Board exams were scheduled to be held from May 4 to June 7 and the results were to be announced by July 15.
