Schools in Delhi to open for classes 10, 12 from January 18

The Delhi government has also prepared a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for all Delhi schools and it would be mandatory for schools to follow these SOPs. The schools need to maintain a record of how many children are coming to schools. However, this record would not be used as a means of marking the attendance of students.

On Thursday evening, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank made an official announcement with regard to the dates of the examinations. Both the Union Ministry of Education and the CBSE have made it clear that the examinations will have to be taken at the examination centre itself in the pen and paper mode, like every year. No option has been provided for online examinations.
